If you're looking for another 5 Star review & very special most deserved shoutout to Maurine Lenahan (the best coordinator in the business HANDS DOWN!! with yearssss of wedding planning and unbelievable passion!)- Here it is! Coming from a first-time bride, that was not looking forward to wedding planning at all.. let me tell you.. Maurine was truly a godsend! From the start, I was blown away by the historic charm of the president, and the elegance of the ballroom but Maurine is who sealed the deal. I went in scatterbrained, unsure of where and how to start, and she guided me through every step of the way making me feel so comfortable and confident that everything would come together perfectly (and let me tell you.. it did thanks to her!). Staff was absolutely AMAZING, quick, so nice and all I have to say is they made a 300 person party look effortless, which in reality is the exact opposite. Special shoutout to the staff!! and chef!! Staff A+++, Chef A+++ , Maurine A +++++!!! My wedding day was perfect and its because of everyone above, so THANK YOU MAURINE AND ALL THE STAFF! My family and I can't thank you all enough!!

Every detail was perfect from the first meeting to the last goodbye of the evening. When booking this venue, we were nervous about how the whole day would unfold and how we would manage so many moving pieces. We wondered how vendors would coordinate with the President. Very quickly, we got a sense of exactly how it would go. Maurine sat us down and mapped it all out. She was very organized and had a step-by-step, decision-by-decision road map of everything we didn't know. She was patient and helpful. She gave advice and helped us visualize. She shared years of experience to help guide us as to what would work or would not. We always felt like we were in very knowing hands. When our day finally came, the ballroom looked like a fairytale, and every detail was spectacular. The dishes and linens worked so well with the grandeur of the room. Our guests told us days later how they could not get over how good the food was because no one expects wedding food to be good. As we chose other vendors, when they asked where the reception was, they were visibly relieved to hear we were at The President. They all knew Maurine and said she was the best to work with. It made all the moving pieces come together so much more easily. Our guests commented several times on how every detail seemed to be thought of and executed so well. We only have Maurine to thank for that. She genuinely cares about each event and takes it very personally if things differ from what we want them to be. She understands what your vision is, and she makes it happen. The President even made the biggest accommodations by allowing a New Orleans-style Second Line to parade through the gorgeous entrance and mezzanine. They made sure our day was exactly as we had hoped it would be. You rarely hear that the wedding came off exactly as you hoped. Without reservation we can say that this wedding did. We could not possibly be any more grateful for all of Maurine's efforts and time and love of her profession. We absolutely recommend The President as a very special and wonderful venue to share a once in a lifetime evening.

Maurine at The Hilton President is the best in the business - hands down. The President was the first venue we toured and she set the bar high. She walked us through all of the important details and painted a vision for how the day would feel. She took us upstairs to the ballroom and described in detail how things would be set up so that we could truly visualize the choice of The President. After touring elsewhere, my fiance and I both knew that we didn't know a lot about planning a wedding but we trusted Maurine. The day of our wedding did not disappoint. Maurine handled every single detail and made sure everything was perfect... not good, perfect. She truly cares about the experience and the magic of what a wedding day is all about, as if it was her own day. Our champagne was sparkling as we viewed the ballroom for the first time. One of my uncles told me it was the only wedding he had ever been to that was actually on time - that is the experience of working with experts! My experience getting ready at The Hilton with my bridesmaids was lovely. The natural lighting was perfect for the glam team. We had plenty of room and the breakfast choices were delicious. The Hilton's food for dinner was exceptional. Every guest loved the meal they had. Preparing food for 230 people would have you guessing the quality, but the chef did not disappoint. Overall, we give 10/10

I recently hosted a Post-Wedding Breakfast at the Hilton President. It was wonderful! Maurine was a pleasure to work with in the planning process and event day. She answered every phone call, text and email promptly-no matter the day or time. As the Mother of the Groom this was very reassuring. Maurine's professionalism, attention to detail and commitment to outstanding customer service and satisfaction was evident in every detail from the menu to the room decor. The staff was attentive, prompt and courteous in serving and responding to requests. The food was served hot and was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food and especially the time to gather. I highly recommend considering the Hilton President for Events and Banquets!
