Maurine to plan our August 2024 wedding at the Hilton President. From our first venue tour, we were sold on the vision that Maurine had laid out for us. We went into wedding planning not knowing a lot about the process, but Maurine made it clear from the start that she would be able to perfectly execute our vision and handle all of the details. At each planning meeting, all questions we had along the way were promptly responded to and in great detail. It was extremely comforting knowing that she was just an email or phone call away and would always provide a quick response when we needed it. Wedding planning without family in town was intimidating at times, but Maurine felt like family during the process. She always put any worries at ease and the wedding day was perfect. The timeline was well organized, and the staff and vendors all worked together with Maurine's guidance to make the day run smoothly. All of the details from when to cut the cake, table settings, and our private last dance were beautiful. Maurine thought of things I never would have and truly made our day the most perfect and memorable!

Every detail was perfect from the first meeting to the last goodbye of the evening. When booking this venue, we were nervous about how the whole day would unfold and how we would manage so many moving pieces. We wondered how vendors would coordinate with the President. Very quickly, we got a sense of exactly how it would go. Maurine sat us down and mapped it all out. She was very organized and had a step-by-step, decision-by-decision road map of everything we didn't know. She was patient and helpful. She gave advice and helped us visualize. She shared years of experience to help guide us as to what would work or would not. We always felt like we were in very knowing hands. When our day finally came, the ballroom looked like a fairytale, and every detail was spectacular. The dishes and linens worked so well with the grandeur of the room. Our guests told us days later how they could not get over how good the food was because no one expects wedding food to be good. As we chose other vendors, when they asked where the reception was, they were visibly relieved to hear we were at The President. They all knew Maurine and said she was the best to work with. It made all the moving pieces come together so much more easily. Our guests commented several times on how every detail seemed to be thought of and executed so well. We only have Maurine to thank for that. She genuinely cares about each event and takes it very personally if things differ from what we want them to be. She understands what your vision is, and she makes it happen. The President even made the biggest accommodations by allowing a New Orleans-style Second Line to parade through the gorgeous entrance and mezzanine. They made sure our day was exactly as we had hoped it would be. You rarely hear that the wedding came off exactly as you hoped. Without reservation we can say that this wedding did. We could not possibly be any more grateful for all of Maurine's efforts and time and love of her profession. We absolutely recommend The President as a very special and wonderful venue to share a once in a lifetime evening.

​The Hilton President was an amazing place to have our daughters wedding reception. Maurine Lenahan is excellent at her job and made everything before that day and on that day perfect. As the mother I had a lot of questions and concerns up to the day of and she always took the time and was very patient with me. Maurine was very good at calming our nerves and letting us know that she had it under control. She was there for any questions on the day before the wedding and also all day on the wedding day. She went above and beyond when I dropped the box that I had all photos for the memories table. It fell out of my SUV when I opened the back and fell on the concrete. I also had the cake topper that my daughter was going to use in that box. It was my parents cake topper when they were married in 1951. When I walked into the hotel she saw that I was visually upset. After I told her what happened she took the box out of my hands and told me she would take care of it. The next day all the broken frames and the cake topper were super glued to perfection! The many people behind the scenes were obviously very good also. From the waiters and waitresses to the bartenders, all were very professional. Food was of very high quality. Being a hotel chain was expecting the food to be good but not excellent. However, I was surprised how excellent the food really was. Had so many guests comment on how good the food was especially the beef tenderloin.

I recently hosted a Post-Wedding Breakfast at the Hilton President. It was wonderful! Maurine was a pleasure to work with during the planning and event day. She answered every phone call, text, and email promptly, no matter the day or time. As the Mother of the Groom, I found this very reassuring. Maurine's professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to outstanding customer service and satisfaction were evident in every detail, from the menu to the room decor. The staff was attentive, prompt, and courteous when serving and responding to requests. The food was served hot and was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food, especially the time spent gathering.

We met with Maurine for our initial meeting and were so impressed with her ability to picture what would work the best for our wedding plans at our venue. We picked the 1920's art deco theme since it was Breezy Point‘s year anniversary. We worked together over the next few months on details of the wedding including the decor, guest list, agenda, coordination of other vendors, and the venue contacts. Maurine is very approachable, friendly, and flexible! There were no bad idea just great suggestions! She was there for the wedding set up and take down and all the details in between. On the day of my wedding, it was, of course, full of happiness, anxiety, and excitement. From the moment that I met maurine, I knew that we were going to not only have a great day but also have a great relationship. She is SO likable, so lovely, and has a way of making you feel like you are the star of the show. The day before the wedding, we all met and rehearsed. She made everyone feel involved, made everyone feel important, and she made sure to go through the directions however many times we might have needed to. We started my actual wedding day by walking outside to find that it was raining. I couldn’t believe it. Maurine assured me that everything was still working smoothly and that they were moving the venue inside. Without her, and without her amazing ability to take situations and make them work to their fullest potential, I think that my day would have been not so great. She was just as excited about my wedding as I was, and that meant the world to me. I have rarely met someone as lovely, genuine, hardworking, and empathetic as she was. From start to finish, she was there, helping with a smile on her face. I really cannot say enough about Maurine, and anyone who works with her should expect to feel extremely blessed to be taken care of by her. Let me start by saying I'm a type-A perfectionist. So you can only imagine when it came to my wedding I wanted it to be perfect. The first day we met with Maurine, her calm demeanor and positive attitude instantly brought my stress level down. She ensured my husband, and I would have the wedding of our dreams. After many attempts over the years trying to organise our wedding, my fiancé of 19 years woke up one morning and said, “Let’s go get married in New York.”  I had five days to pull off what I thought would be impossible. We reached out to friends to find someone to help us organise our day; this is when Maurine came into our lives. After telling her about our plans, I was sure that she would say impossible—I was so wrong. Two days later, I received a call from Maurine; everything was in place: the flowers, the limo, the licence, city hall, and the reception venue.   All we had to do was get to New York— and we did.

It was a cold February day, a blanket of snow covered the ground, but thanks to Maurine, our day was wrapped in a bubble of warmth, fueled by love and kindness.  Her incredible composure certainly helped us relax so that we could focus on enjoying our day. It was such a magical day, beautifully put together and without a doubt the happiest day of our lives, something I don't think we will ever experience again. Maurine, we can not thank you enough; what you did for us was not only impossible but miraculous.
